These tracks, like most rap tracks, are commedy vignettes about stupid people doing stupid things. Rap isnt really music, and you should all learn to spell But wit all dat said it still wasnt bad cuz "Poppin my Collar" was tight and Project Pat kinda made a big return on this one! Tha whole south loved dat! Anyway, this CD was still worth ya money cuz of tha production by Paul and Juicy. This CD was okay I guess but any real fan know it was they WORST EVER! They went commercial on us big time and I never thought Three 6 would do dat! I miss that old horrorcore satanic ish! And not havin Lord Infamous hurt too. THIS ALBUM WUZ GOOD,BUT NOT DA BEST.THEY CAN DO BETTER ON BODY PARTS 3 N THEY DIDNT FEATURE LORD INFAMOUS IN ANY TRACK.BUT THEY WENT PLATINUM,BUT THEY SHOULD BRING BACK THE PHSYCOTIC ISH,ALL DAT TALKIN BOUT KILLIN N ALL DAT.BUT IT STILL BANGS LIKE THEY RE-MADE HALF ON A SACK.BUT IF YOU A FAN OF THREE 6 YOU SHOULD STILL GO OUT N GET THIS ALBUM,CUZ OVER ALL IT WUZ A GOOD ALBUM. go get all dem raw memphis rappers you used to have and pay em right this time!!! tell em your sorry! and get real money. They have dropped classic after classic, giving us such hits as Sippin On Syrup, Who Run It, Tear Da Club Up, and Ridin Spinners. Throughout the years, as a collective, solo and otherwise. say goodbye to the bad guys!!!!!! Word of advice to the six. The members of Three Six Mafia have truly built a strong and lasting brand that is synonymous with southern hip-hop. yea well this crap is got to be the end of they carrier. Yea back in 97 they Had an album called The end. I think Paul and Juicy predicted this one
I think this album was on the same level as DA Unbreakables if not above that album because they put their hardcore style to the mainstream the only problem is that lord infamous is not on the album i kike this album it took me awhile to get into it but its a good album we all can tell three 6 mafia went mainstream but its still good album 100% better than last 2 walk if you like that dirty south balling music go get this they still kept it gangsta and hardcore on this album. this cd is definately one of three 6s best. if you actually have rythmn, its the best music out there. Three 6 Mafia is the hardcore of the hardcore, and not for the faint of heart.For the lame one that said rap isnt music. The rapping is not bad, though what the guys lack in technique and invention, they compensate for with lyrical excess.
The beats are all done in-house and are the main draw. On the other hand, if you're new to the group, likely introduced to them via "Stay Fly," you should expect over-the-top hardcore Southern rap.
THREE 6 MAFIA MOST KNOWN UNKNOWN ZIP SHAREBEAST PLUS
Clocking in at 20-plus songs in roughly 80 minutes Most Known Unknown is indeed more of the same, plus a little extra quality, so if you're a fan, you won't be disappointed. "Swervin'" and "When I Pull Up at the Club" are two such instances, while "Side 2 Side" shows off Juicy and Paul's ability to import concurrent trends, in this case the "we-don't-dance dance" of Terror Squad's "Lean Back." And of course, you'll find all kinds of gratuitous profanity, sex talk, and drug references, along with over-the-top showboating aggression - everything that has come to be expected from Three 6. Nothing else on Most Known Unknown comes close to matching the excellence of "Stay Fly," unfortunately, though there are plenty of good songs here. Features by Eightball, MJG, and Young Buck - who are also from Memphis - make the song even more dizzying, as the verses come quickly and hit hard. Sure, Three 6 has always had a knack for roof-raisers like this, going back to similarly styled anthems like "Tear da Club Up" and "Hit a Muthafucka," but none have had such crossover potential.
Juicy and Paul sample an old Willie Hutch song here, and the result is striking. "Stay Fly" stands out - not only amid the rest of the album, but amid the entire Three 6 catalog - with its propulsive intensity and crafty hook. That means a parade of first-rate productions by Juicy J and DJ Paul, the group's primary members, and plenty of street-level rhymes of the most hardcore variety. As with practically every successive Three 6 Mafia album, Most Known Unknown is more of the same, executed a little bit better than before.
